Let's talk about the role and responsibilities As a DBA you will be working across a wide mix of project and BAU work within our Perth CIS team. In this role, you will get to:
Install, configure, and manage the following Database solutions: Microsoft SQL, SQL Clustering and Always On Availability Groups; Oracle Database; MongoDB and Azure SQL instances- AWS DynamoDB and RD. Database backup and recovery planning, management, and testing. Database monitoring, performance tuning and optimisation. Data transformation and loading. Reporting and querying (MS SQL SSRS, Oracle Reports). Let's talk about the team Our Cloud Infrastructure Services practice brings together the right technology, processes and culture to deliver business agility and cost reduction to our clients. We provide cloud-focused client advisory and delivery services on areas such as hybrid cloud, workplace services, security, service desk and cloud service management/delivery.
Let's talk about your capability and experience Knowledge and hands-on experience of SQL 2005 through to 2019. Strong in administration of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS. Experience around Always on Availability Groups and window cluster in Azure and on-prem. Ability to work closely with developers, application support teams, software vendors and management. Excellent database performance troubleshooting skills. Knowledge and experience of Azure SQL PaaS/IaaS implementation and configuration. Exposure in supporting large environments on-prem and Azure cloud technologies. Experience with migrating data from MySQL to MS SQL server using SSIS packages.
