Duties include the below, but are not limited to:
Partnering with analysts and traders to enhance and support the development life cycle of trading, financial risk and retail products. Actively participating in new projects and initiatives to deliver tailored solutions aligned with the technology roadmap. Engaging with business users and external partners to drive impactful business outcomes. Implementing development standards and frameworks while modernising legacy applications with recommended technology stacks. Designing, building, and optimising data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and storage. Conducting data modeling and architecture design to support analytical and reporting needs. Collaborating with data architects to define best practices for data governance and data quality management. About you
The ideal candidate is an expert in dimensional modeling with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data structures to support analytics and reporting needs, possessing expert-level programming skills in Python for efficient data manipulation and analysis, while demonstrating advanced proficiency in Oracle and Snowflake, which reflects their strong understanding of database design and performance optimisation. They are analytical thinkers and proactive problem solvers, who can translate complex data requirements into effective solutions, and their excellent verbal and written communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Degree in software engineering, computer science, or a numerical discipline with strong programming component (e.g. statistics, computational science, etc). Proficiency in conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Willingness to innovate, embrace changes and new ideas. Ability to engage with stakeholders in understanding their requirements and apply business context to technical solutions. About Us
