The role: At oOh!media we are committed to harnessing the power of our inventory, audience, and campaign data to drive campaign optimisations to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with a strong background in mathematical optimisation and exposure in machine learning to join our technology team. In this role you will be implementing campaign planning tools used by our sales teams and customers. Key responsibilities Develop and implement advanced numerical methods using mathematical optimisation solver Gurobi.Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.Design and conduct experiments to validate models and optimization techniques.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and visualizations.Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, numerical modelling, linear programming, and mixed integer programming methodologies.Experience / Qualifications Required: Degree or Postgraduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in mathematical programming problems e.g linear programming preferably in an industrial or research setting.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.Subject matter expert with optimization libraries and frameworks using Gurobi.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with machine learning techniques and tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Preferred Experience Experience with big data / data science and analytics technologies (e.g. Spark, Databricks).A background in operations research - for example in supply chain, transportation, healthcare or investments.Desired experience in solving MIPS (Mixed Integer Programming) in Gurobi.Ideal with exposure in advertising campaigns.Our Benefits: You flex – We are all different and we recognise that.
