We are seeking Senior Data Scientist to join our Perth Digital Advisory and Advanced Data & Analytics ANZ team.
The purpose of this role is to provide a diverse range of Data Science services to our clients using technical skills in programming (Python, R, Java, Shiny), engineering and scientific skills.
You will?successfully plan, manage and deliver projects to meet client?requirements, build the Digital & Data performance unit work pipeline by developing and capitalising on internal and external client relationships?and to?provide?technical?inputs.
Work may be performed on secondment at a client location, or for clients from Jacobs locations.

The Senior Data Scientist will work within the Digital & Data performance unit and is embedded in the Data & Optimisation team.
The role encompasses Data Science projects that investigate and optimise elements of a client's business operations.
A flexible approach to project delivery is required.
Work may be performed across the wide range of markets that Jacobs services, including Transport, Water, Energy & Power, Resources and Health.
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with technical leadership and team members, including guidance to the less senior members of the team.

You will need demonstrated: Experience with Data science, computer science, or similar.
Passion to engage deeply with the physics of problems and apply various techniques to solve them.
Understanding of data structures and databases.
Experience using scientific methods, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data.
Analysis, data preparation, and presentation skills to inform organisational decision making.
Understanding in common programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Shiny.
Communication skills.
Understanding of project management Jacobs.
