Joining our Data Science team means you'll be instrumental in developing models that address critical business questions that solve critical commercial problems for our growing and impressive customer base and optimise their customer lifecycles.
Position Overview: We are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistics and experience in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Customer Lifecycle Modelling.
Ideally, you bring advanced statistical expertise and familiarity with PyMC, enhancing our team's ability to design sophisticated probabilistic models and conduct statistical analysis.
What You'll Do: Develop and refine Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Commercial Mix Models (CMM) to assess media effectiveness.Build Customer Lifecycle Models (Churn, Retention, X-Sell, Up-Sell) to drive retention and engagement.Use advanced statistical methods to validate models and generate marketing insights.Serve as a technical business analyst, turning business needs into actionable, data-driven strategies.Collaborate closely with Marketing Science, Engineering, Data, and Data Science teams.Use PyMC for Bayesian analysis and to enhance model features.What You'll Bring: Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.3-5 years of experience in data science, ideally within marketing analytics or media effectiveness.Strong statistical expertise, with experience in Bayesian modelling, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and data science pipelines; familiarity with PyMC is a plus.Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, with demonstrated technical business analysis skills.Excellent communication skills for translating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in fast-paced and/or startup environments.A proactive, can-do attitude focused on delivering tangible business value and a willingness to take initiative.What We Offer: Impact: Directly influence the core strategic decisions of global brands through data-driven insights.Innovation: Work with world-leading technologies in predictive analytics.Culture: Thrive in a culture that values bold ideas, professional growth, and collaborative achievement.Benefits: Enjoy a competitive package that includes ESOP, generous leave policies, and continuous learning opportunities.Come in and join the Prophet team.
