Senior Data Scientist

The Victorian Auditor-General's Office (VAGO) is integral to Victoria's integrity framework, performing audits to ensure public sector transparency and accountability to Parliament and the community. The Parliamentary Reports and Services Division of VAGO, consisting of about 70 staff, focuses on strategic audit planning and data science to improve public services.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Plan and execute complex data analytics projects for performance audits. Apply data and statistical models to real-world problems. Conduct data quality assurance and contribute to reviews of others' work. Communicate data insights clearly to support performance audit outcomes.
