Senior Data Engineer

Location: 3 days onsite in Dandenong & 2 days WFH
Project: Building a Data Warehouse (DWH) with data sourced from SAP S4 Hana, creating visualisation reports via Power BI
Start: ASAP for the right person
We are looking for a contractor to work on a 6 month project, 3 days onsite in Dandenong and 2 days WFH.
You will be responsible for building a data warehouse and creating visual reports via Power BI.
The main source of data will be SAP S4 HANA, which will be integrated into MS Power BI.
Key Responsibilities: Database Design and Optimisation: Develop and optimise database schemas, tables, relationships, and indexes to meet project requirements.Data Integrity: Ensure the security and integrity of data through effective schema design and regular maintenance.Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise database performance, especially in handling large data volumes.Produce clear, detailed documentation of database structures and processes.Requirements: 10+ years experience in Data EngineeringDegree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related disciplineExperience with SQLExperience in Power BIExperience in SAP S4 Hana (ideal, not mandatory)Experience interacting with REST APIsExperience in .NetExperience in the following sectors is highly regarded: HealthPharmaceuticalFMCGIf this is you, click "Apply Now"
