This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of their data and analytics environment, ensuring that their systems and processes scale to meet the growing demands of the business.About the Role:As a Senior Data Engineer, you will oversee critical data integration efforts, including the development and maintenance of data models, data warehousing, and analytics platforms. You will drive key initiatives such as the integration of new authentication and CRM systems and ensure that data processes are robust, scalable, and aligned with the client's strategic goals.A key aspect of this role will be your expertise with Azure Databricks, as you work to optimise data workflows and contribute to the development of data processing frameworks that meet the evolving needs of the business.Key Responsibilities:Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, or in a similar technical role, with a strong background in data integration, data modelling, and data pipeline development.Strong experience with Azure Databricks for building and managing data pipelines, data lakes, and advanced analytics solutions.Expertise in data warehousing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).Experience with analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).Solid experience with CRM systems, ideally Dynamics 365, and integration of external tools like Auth0.Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and shell scripting for data analysis and pipeline management.Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and data cleansing principles.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on data accuracy and system efficiency.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, managing both internal and external stakeholders.Experience in data migration projects and managing complex data systems.Desirable:Background in sports, membership organisations, or large-scale enterprise data environments.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.You will be joining an organisation that looks after its staff, provides flexible work practices, ensuring a positive work-life balance.For more info contact Nic on ****** is a critical role for our client, please click 'apply now' and quote #264016.
