This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical reporting and data management services to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyse and profile large structured and unstructured data sets to drive valuable insights.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address business challenges and manage reporting priorities.
Reporting & Visualisation: Create insightful reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to effectively communicate complex data.
ETL Management: Optimise data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to meet reporting requirements.
Regulatory Support: Enhance and support business-as-usual regulatory reporting processes.
Advocacy: Promote the value of data analytics to help stakeholders understand its impact on decision-making.
What You Need: Experience: Proven background as a Data Analyst with strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., Teradata).
BI Tools Proficiency: Expertise in data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Attention to Detail: A commitment to data quality and accuracy.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to ask the right questions to extract insights and deliver tailored solutions.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience with Python for data analysis.
Familiarity with tools like Axiom or TM1.
Understanding of financial services and regulatory reporting, particularly in EFS.
