This 12 month Secondment/ Fixed Term Contract position will play a key role in the discovery, development, and implementation of data solutions. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding business results as part of a multi-disciplinary collaborative delivery team to implement or enhance data solutions.
Leveraging strong stakeholder management skills and through building relationships, you will ensure that the data requirements you capture reflect business priorities, align to the Retail Data Office Strategy and are translated to a feasible plan for execution.
Responsibilities Ongoing BAU reporting with an eye for Continuous Improvement and attention to detail.Welcoming change as BAU, consistently pushing forward and evolving your skills as a data specialist.Working cohesively within a multidisciplinary collective to complete projects to agreed budget, scope, and timeframes.Performing data validation to compare business requirements and technical outcomes. This includes preparing findings to share with business stakeholders and work with technical teams to resolve any defects/gaps.Facilitating workshops/conversations with business stakeholders and data stewards to ensure the completeness and accuracy of business definitions.Translating business objectives to technical requirements that are actionable by delivery teams.Exploring data to relate back to business definitions including timeliness and quality/fit for purpose.Keeping abreast of regulatory and industry changes that impact your role.We are interested to hear from people who have Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.High attention to detail.Strong and demonstrable SQL and ETL experience but are tool-agnostic.SAS is widely used in the business; any exposure is welcome.Hands-on experience of data validation techniques.Strong knowledge of databases, bank and collections/hardship processes desirable.Awareness of the ARCA Data Standards for Comprehensive Credit Reporting, or demonstrated willingness to research.Domain Knowledge on Retail Banking or any Finance domain.You can be you, we want the real people beneath the skill set.
