Drive data-driven decision-making by designing and implementing data solutions to support the UNITE program.How will I help? As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in driving the UNITE data transformation program. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, design and implement data solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity. Your strong technical skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail, will enable you to optimise data architectures, identify data risks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
You'll work closely with the Chief Data Office to ensure alignment with data governance standards and contribute to the overall success of the UNITE program.
Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and reviewing data architecture and data models across upstream and downstream applications to determine data migration impact.Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and act as a proxy between technical and business specifications.Developing and maintaining data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.Ensuring data integrity, quality, and security across all data systems through risk identification, risk mitigation, and control uplifts.Optimising and enhancing data architecture to support scalability and performance.Ensuring compliance with our data, privacy, and record-keeping obligations.Working closely with IT and business teams to ensure alignment of data strategies with business goals.Ideally, have data onboarding (lineage, risks, controls) experience.What do I need? To succeed in this role, you'll need strong technical skills and a passion for data.
Key Qualifications: A strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance principles.Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data models, data flows, and data dictionaries.Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, SAS, and Azure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.Experience in data migration projects, particularly within a financial institution.A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A commitment to data security and compliance.Experience with change management activities, including communication and training.Experience working within a regulated financial institution is highly desirable.
