Database Development & Administration (Information & Communication Technology) Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving their data transformation program.
This permanent position, based in Sydney, offers the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, design and implement data solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity.
Your technical prowess and attention to detail will be instrumental in optimising data architectures, identifying data risks, and promoting data-driven decision-making.
You'll also work closely with the Chief Data Office to align with data governance standards and contribute to the overall success of the program.
What you'll do: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the businessOptimise data architectures and promote data-driven decision-makingSource and review data architecture and models across applications to determine data migration impactCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and act as a proxy between technical and business specificationsDevelop and maintain data models, flow diagrams, and dictionariesEnsure data integrity, quality, and security across all systems through risk identification, mitigation, and control upliftsOptimise and enhance data architecture for scalability and performanceEnsure compliance with data, privacy, and record-keeping obligationsWork closely with IT and business teams to align data strategies with business goalsWhat you bring: Strong understanding of data architecture, modelling, and governance principlesProficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, Azure for data analysisExcellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills for resolving data quality issuesExperience in financial institutionsKeen attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyCommitment to data security and complianceWhat sets this company apart: Our client is a Financial Services company with a collaborative team of passionate individuals who have a shared ambition to make a difference for their customers, communities and each other.
