The Role We are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic product & technology team, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of respiratory care for patients through actionable insights.
Reporting to the VP of Technology & Engineering, the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the business.
They will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, develop reports, and provide customized solutions to help the organization with continuous improvement of their product & technology.
Responsibilities: Unified Data Models: Create and maintain data models that serve as the single source of truth across the business.
You'll link, transform, and make data accessible to both technical and non-technical users. Data Driven Insights: Analyze large data sets using advanced statistical techniques and tools to uncover trends, opportunities, and insights.
You'll turn data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring your insights are presented clearly and drive impactful actions.
Identify business questions and translate them into data and analysis requirements. Quality: Identify data quality issues and help to develop solutions to improve data integrity, accuracy, and completeness. Manage data collection: Ensure data is readily accessible and easy to work with. Reporting: Prepare and present data-driven reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. 5-8+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry. Proven experience in analyzing large and complex datasets, with advanced proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or related data analysis tools. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across teams to drive impactful actions and drive strategy with your insights. Experience with cloud-based data solutions on Azure, including Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory, for managing and processing large-scale data in a cloud environment. Big Data Proficiency: Familiarity with Big Data tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks) to handle large data volumes and support analytics at scale. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar platforms to create meaningful, actionable dashboards and reports. Knowledge of statistical modelling, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing methodologies, with the ability to apply these techniques for data-driven insights. Understanding of data management, data warehousing, and ETL processes, especially in cloud environments, to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across the organization. Domain knowledge of respiratory health and medications for asthma and COPD is an advantage, enabling more meaningful insights and understanding of the impact of data on patient outcomes. Additional Preferred Skills: Experience in Azure Machine Learning or similar platforms is a plus for implementing predictive analytics. Data Governance: Familiarity with data privacy and security practices, especially relevant for healthcare data in a cloud environment. Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis, including VBA for automation.
