Government - State (Government & Defence)The purpose of the Senior Data Analyst will be to create and deliver transport data analysis outcomes in the heavy vehicle road access and use domain which proactively respond to current and emerging transport needs in our community. This will be achieved by applying your expertise in data analytics and analytical technology to a variety of scenarios and options. You will realise efficiencies to transport networks that industry uses every day to deliver essential goods and advocate for improving the experience of industry and customers.Responsibilities:Consolidate and maintain qualitative and quantitative data to enable evidenced based decision making to both operational and policy areas of TMR.Maintain processes to regularly communicate insights to key stakeholders and actively engage with and seek input from stakeholders.Provide operational assistance to Heavy Vehicle Operations management, staff, other Transport and Main Roads business units, other state jurisdictions and the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.Assist the business unit in implementing change initiatives, especially relating to systems and technology.Contribute to and participate in staff training sessions to ensure all existing and new team members are kept informed of system or procedural developments as required.Additional Benefits:Work and Life balance, including 'flex time' and flexible work arrangements and a working from home option.Beautiful City location close to the Brisbane Botanical Gardens with just over a 10-minute walk from Central Station.Work with a supportive team, with a high level of training and development invested in each staff member.Generous leave and superannuation.For more information on the full list of responsibilities, requirements of the role and how to apply for this exciting opportunity, please read the Role Description with the Applicant Guide.We strongly encourage applicants from all life experiences and backgrounds to apply.
