A bit about your role The Senior Data Analyst supports the New Developments teams to make data driven decisions by collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data sets and analysing results to answer questions or solve problems.
Working with the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics Delivery, this role addresses data requirements by delivering short term and interim solutions while developing, delivering and enhancing strategic data products with SEO (Systems, Engineering and Operations) and CDO (Chief Data Office) for the business unit while assisting with data domain management and governance. Through these activities, the Senior Data Analyst plays a vital role in uplifting data literacy across New Developments, by virtue of direct engagement with stakeholders in a data and analytics advisory capacity.
A bit about you If this role sounds like a good match for you, it's likely that you have strong analytical background with experience in data and analytics and/or IT solution delivery, with capabilities working within cross-functional teams with complex legal, regulatory and governance requirements. You'll hold a strong understanding of relational database design principles and query optimisation as well as extensive experience with data querying languages, such as Python and SQL and expertise utilising Tableau, Alteryx, Power Bi or similar tools.
As an exceptional communicator, you will have the confidence and capability in using data to influence a narrative as well as recognised expertise in building strong relationships with stakeholders to align decision making and to achieve successful business outcomes.
You will possess exceptional domain management and governance experience, with the ability to liaise across multiple functions in the organisation. Your curious and critical thinking mindset, paired with your problem solving / root cause analysis skills will be pivotal to your success in this role.
