Strategy and Office of the Vice-Chancellor - Mt Helen Campus Two (2) full-time, continuing appointments - part time will be considered HEW 7 - $97,371 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation About the role The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for providing high quality business intelligence to support data-driven decision making throughout the University. This position undertakes advanced analysis of institutional and external data, provides advice on the interpretation of data, and successfully communicates data insights and recommendations.
Your Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain strategic analytics assets; Develop an advanced understanding of key data and analytics assets in the University's data estate, providing advice to inform strategic decision making; Undertake advanced analysis of institutional and external data; Engage with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements, validate methodologies and successfully translate business requirements. About you Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Intelligence, you will have demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of enterprise-wide analytics. You will use your advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems and be able to communicate business intelligence insights to a variety of audiences.
Your Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with complex data sets, technical proficiency using BI tools (e.g. MS Power BI, SQL, Excel, RStudio) and proven design skills; Proven ability to build strong and collaborative partnerships; Understanding of data governance, data privacy, ethics and security matters.
