THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst for a growing team. This role is an important addition to our Information Technology & Systems team, directly reporting to the National Chief Information Officer.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will leverage their analytical expertise, mindset, and industry knowledge to generate, interpret, and present key business activity and financial reports that impact strategic decision-making across the organisation.
A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Technology or similar relevant qualification. Minimum of five years' experience in a Data Analyst role. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation. Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills, with a pro-active approach to continuous improvement. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, financial structures, payroll, and billing processes. Strong experience with Power BI for data visualisation and dashboard creation. Professional and confident communication skills. Solutions-focused with strong relationship-building skills. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills. Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently and work to deadlines and changing priorities. Understanding of healthcare operations, including workforce planning, financial reporting, and regulatory considerations, ideally in a nursing agency environment. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and development. Familiarity with other data analysis tools (e.g. Python, R). Prior experience working in a labour hire market environment. HOW TO APPLY
