Qualifications & Experience Strong experience working with strain gauges, accelerometers, displacement sensors and other geotechnical or structural monitoring devices Background in electronics, hydraulics, and monitoring systems essential Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve technical issues in the field Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams Relevant technical qualifications in electronics, engineering, or a related field Knowledge of LoRaWAN, data loggers and data acquisition systems highly regarded Knowledge of Pulse Echo Tests (PET), Low Strain and High Strain Static Loads, Thermal Integrity Profiling and PDA highly regarded Tasks & Responsibilities Lead data acquisition operations from pile foundations using strain gauges, displacement sensors, load cells and other instrumentation Ensure validity and maintenance of equipment used for data acquisition on construction sites Work with leading Piling Contractors, Government Organisations and Private Companies to acquire data to assist them in making the best decisions Analyse and interpret data to assist with decision-making on infrastructure projects Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians Work on different projects with different Clients Great opportunity to work on existing Projects around Perth Help develop our systems to your experience and desires We are excited by new technologies - let's build awesome things!
