Job Description


Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Workers - Senior Farm Hands in Victoria, Australia. The farms are located in the towns of Fulham, Wharparilla, Winnindoo, Goon Nure, Denison, Nambrok, Clydebank, Tarraville, Bushy Park, Tinamba West, Orford, Minhamite, Hawkesdale, Woolsthorpe, Jancourt East, Cooriemungle, Glenfyne and Simpson.
The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing a dairy operation.
The successful candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas;

Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures
Animal Health and Record Management
All aspects of milking and general farm duties
Feeding of cattle and feeding plans
Animal Husbandry
Pasture Management
Machinery operation
Repairs and Maintenance
Supervise work routines and staff performance for farm hands.





Qualifications


Desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

Minimum 3 years of dairy industry experience
Certificate III or relevant equivalent
Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
Reliable and punctual
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Team player.
