Security (Information & Communication Technology) Other (Education & Training) Full time About the Role Reporting to the Manager: Cyber Security Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive and comprehensive program of cyber threat hunting and analysis activities across the University's entire IT environment.
As part of the team responsible for the comprehensive cyber defence of Uni SA's digital assets, you will use your considerable technical expertise and up-to-date knowledge to identify and neutralise threats whilst working with a multi-disciplinary cyber security team to develop and implement ongoing plans to keep the University's digital assets safe from unauthorised access.
Essential Skills and Experience Extensive experience in cyber hunting at operational system, application and network levels in a complex information technology environment Proven capability in security event monitoring, analysis, and triage, including data and trend analysis Comprehensive understanding of security principles such as attack and defence frameworks (e.g.
Mitre Attack Framework), threat landscapes and attack vectors Extensive experience in the application of cyber security and risk management frameworks (e.g.
NIST) Demonstrated experience in providing advice to senior management and proven ability to communicate technical messages to reach all audiences Commitment to a high level of customer service and to working collaboratively in a team-based environment Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, experience and skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development Benefits Getting a great job working with the best is just the start.
