The successful candidate will assist in driving a cyber security culture and awareness program that addresses human centric cyber security challenges and meets the needs of the Department of Health and Hospital and Health Services.
Role responsibilities: Identify high-risk cohorts within Queensland Health and develop and deliver targeted training in collaboration with other eHealth Queensland stakeholders where applicable. Support the day-to-day coordination of the Cyber Security Ambassador Program with Ambassadors across the state, including regular onboarding workshops, network meetings and other engagement activities. Deliver awareness briefings and prepare microlearning modules either face-to-face or virtually. Identify opportunities to facilitate behavioural change and awareness keeping in pace with industry trends and methodologies. Provide day-to-day advice to Cyber Ambassadors and cyber teams seeking to improve cyber awareness in their HHS or Department. You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security, with the capacity to successfully apply/adopt them in a healthcare environment. Demonstrated experience in assisting in development and implementation of a culture and awareness program (or similar) in a large, complex and geographically dispersed service delivery organisation. Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience translating complex technical information into an easy-to-understand concepts accessible to a diverse workforce. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training packages using adult learning methodologies. Specific Working Conditions: While the role is flexible, the core role requirement is based in Brisbane with potential travel requirements. After hours work may be required to support incident response needs.
