We are looking for a strong and experienced cyber-security all-rounder to join our team.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Cyber Security.
Being part of a small team, there will be plenty of opportunity (and expectation) to get involved in all aspects of cyber-security - and therefore, lots of opportunity to learn and develop too.
Strong skills and experience in using and configuring Microsoft's security, compliance, and identity platforms are essential for this role.
This role is based in our Deeside head office, with a minimum of 2 days per week spent working from here.
A typical week in this role will involve a variety of activities; vulnerability management, incident response, security data analysis, identifying improvements, managing changes, and much more.
We're looking for someone who understands the practicalities of applying cyber-security within a fast-paced retail organisation with over 900 stores.
Strong communication skills are essential, as effective cyber-security requires all areas of our business to do the right thing - so we need someone who can build relationships and be an advocate for cyber-security at all times.
Specific skills and capabilities we are looking for: Essential Expert in using and configuring the MS Defender suite of products.Expert in using MS Entra.A strong understanding of MS Azure and what good security architecture looks like.Highly proficient in using KQL.Highly proficient in analysing and manipulating data in Excel.A good all-round knowledge of cyber-security and how it applies in industry. Desirable A strong understanding of vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation.Expert in using MS InTune.Great at communicating complex technical topics to a non-technical audience.Experience in writing and using Powershell. Nice to Have Experience in using and configuring an enterprise grade WAF.Experience in using and configuring an enterprise grade SASE.Certifications, e.g.
