Senior Customer Service and Office AdministrationFull time
Houspect has been operating in Western Australia for 35 years, providing building inspection services via qualified building inspectors. Our detailed property inspection reports, provided to Australian standards, are in a format which is easy to read and understand. Our business operates across Western Australia and continues to grow.
About the Role We pride ourselves on our customer service. Through our customer service team, located in our Balcatta office, we are able to support our customers and our building inspectors by having a service team that is readily available to help with enquiries, bookings, report status, special needs, and general questions.
Duties Key duties associated with the role include:
Responding to client enquiriesBooking building inspectionsProviding inspection quotes using in-house systemsAssisting in the finalisation and production of building inspection reports submitted by our Building InspectorsGeneral office administrationRequired Skills Happy, engaging, dependable team player who takes ownership of their role and responsibilitiesExcellent communication skills (both written, verbal, and especially phone)An ability to empathise and engage with clients who are purchasing or building their dream homeExceptional call management and call interaction skillsThe ability to communicate effectively with our clientsExcellent, organised, efficient, and reliable administrative skillsHigh degree of accuracy with the ability to proofread client reportsComputer literacy with normal office softwareAn ability to commit and contribute to the attainment of our business goals and objectivesIdeal Experience Experience in working autonomously but within a highly productive teamExperience in managing telephone inquiriesDemonstrated and extensive above-average administrative skills gained through a busy office environmentExperience in IT systems and the MS Office suite10 - 20 years experience working in a busy WA commercial officeExposure to the construction and/or real estate industry terms/jargon would be a valuable advantageHouspect will provide further training for successful applicants. Hours of work are 8.30 to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
