Some of your responsibilities will include:Fulfil the role of cultural heritage advisor on multiple project delivery teams, providing cultural heritage risk assessments, advice and management services as part of the implementation of regional programs, including the planning, design, construction and maintenance of QTRIP projects and associated regional operations.Promote, foster and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Traditional Owner groups, concerned with the management of cultural heritage relevant to the department's interest.Provide information and advice to stakeholders on relevant legislation, departmental policy, procedures, and requirements for cultural heritage management.Develop and implement new systems and procedures to improve cultural heritage management performance within regional operations and also within the wider Department.Identify, develop and deliver training packages to ensure that relevant stakeholders have an awareness of cultural heritage management requirements.Applications will remain current for 12 months.The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is a diverse organisation made up of more than 11,500 employees representing 80 occupational groups across Queensland.We provide reliable, resilient and responsive transport networks and digital services that are safe and accessible for everyone.
