Senior Credit Controller Sydney, NSW
Responsibility of a large portfolio with various elements to collections, from local Australian business to Major Multinational Clients.
Day to day cash allocation is performed by support team in India so main focus is on reducing debtors and building relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Monthly reporting to management on movement, trend and overall KPI tracking.

DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include?

Responsible for Credit Control and Debt Collection: Monitoring of premiums that fall due / overdue Send monthly broker statements Liaise with underwriters, brokers and management to progress collection process Reconciliation of brokers' statement/payments made to offshore service centre Monitoring & matching of receipts and unallocated receipts Liaising with team responsible for Premium Booking/Resolving Discrepancies Accelerating the collection process on aged debt Monthly reporting of credit control balances analysis APAC Credit Control Manager Review of premium status and respond to Operation before settlement of claims & refund premiums Ad Hoc Projects as may be directed by APAC Credit Control Manager Adhere to all internal company procedures where applicable including, but not limited to, administrative procedures, expenses, health & safety Ensure that, as an AXA XL employee, you are representing the AXA XL organisation in a professional and appropriate manner You will report to the Operations Lead, Australia.

Proven experience in a similar role.
Insurance experience is essential Experience in a Financial Services environment Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a confident and articulate presenter to internal/external audiences, exercising appropriate discretion in dealing with people from all levels of the Company Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs Comfortable taking ownership for own work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team Displays a resilient and adaptable style, track record of remaining calm in demanding circumstances, adjusting comfortably to changing conditions / priorities The role would suit highly driven self-starters, with a strong desire to challenge and deliver Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; specifically Excel (including ability to manage if not write macros), Outlook, Word, Powerpoint FIND your future AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
