An exciting new opportunity to join a renowned SA government organisation Your new company Your new company is a leading government organisation that provides financial services and policy advice to the South Australian community and the government is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join their team. This organisation is responsible for managing economic, social and financial outcomes and plays a vital role in the state's development. Your new role In your new role as a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be part of the credit risk management team that oversees the counterparty analysis and credit policy for the organisation's activities. You will also lead and conduct support analysis of industry support counterparties and suppliers, manage other duties undertaken by the second line of defence, and provide support with the operational event register across the organisation. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field At least five years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in a public sector or financial services environment Strong knowledge of credit risk methodologies, frameworks, and best practices Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
