Senior Cost/Schedule Analyst SA, Mawson Lakes Finance 13252BR Job Highlights Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Your responsibilities will include: Provide Subject Matter Expert advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to Cost & Scheduling activities Lead the establishment and coordination of frameworks and baselines for project cost, schedule and risk for new and existing programs, to facilitate the successful achievement of project objectives Ensure correct utilisation of Earned Value Management standards, processes and systems to enable the timely and accurate monitoring, reporting and performance measurement of project cost, schedule, risk and scope through the project execution lifecycle Support Earned Value Management System surveillance program activities in accordance with project Earned Value Management Professional and business processes Establish weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project rhythms for statusing, analysis and reporting on cost, schedule and risks in alignment with Business and Customer Rhythms and coordinate project adherence Establish and maintain approved cost and schedule Project Management Baselines including incorporation of approved baseline changes. About you: Extensive experience in applying principles, concepts, practices and standards of scheduling and EVM principles, in particular, Critical Path Method and Baseline Control Project administration experience with substantial knowledge of and exposure to accounting and budgeting principles Ability to prepare, analyse, and interpret highly complex reports and management information Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications (Open Plan Professional, Cobra, etc.) Significant experience providing effective guidance, mentoring and training to other employees Special Requirements: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens to be eligible for NV1 Defence Security Clearance.   What we offer you: At Lockheed Martin we value our team and the contribution they make every day.
