This will involve establishing early budgets, early estimating, and cost planning,tendering and procurementand post contract reporting .The role will also include management of other Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within the team.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan to the ClientManage project profitabilityExternalise within the local property market to raise company profileAssist with bid writing and negotiation of our contractsWork independently and take responsibility for deliverables.Being responsible for project deliverables and ensuring governance is followed.Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesManaging Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within the Occupier team.Qualifications A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycleAbility to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management servicesRecognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar. Preferable RICS or AIQS accredited.Any construction experience within the Defence sector will be highly regardedAdditional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
