If you share our clear vision to drive the transition towards a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Senior Cost Controller to join our team in Perth, Western Australia on a full-time permanent basis.
About The Role: Reporting to the Head of Cost Control, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues associated with your allocated project/s. Analysing financial data, tracking project costs and creating client and management reports to ensure the budgets are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting up the project budget/forecasts Estimate the impact of changes and modifications on the cost of project Provide project support by monitoring and reporting on cost, project progress, invoicing, change control and variations Liaise with the discipline Leads, procurement, construction and project management teams Conduct analysis on risks and opportunities Prepare monthly invoices to the client and follow up works Assist procurement on invoices from Subcontractors/Suppliers Perform economical analysis, forecasts, deviations reports etc. Update cash forecast Responsible for the Monthly Project Cost Report and Project Management report Some specific tasks will include manpower forecasting, construction/procurement forecasting, budget transfer and variation order register, budget variance formalisation, cost sensitivities analysis and cash flow We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.
About You: We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Unrestricted Australian working rights Full understanding of the principles of cost control, management and project reporting 7 + years working in cost control Previous project-based cost control experience a strong advantage Prior experience working in the Energy industry (desired) Advanced MS Excel skills A detail minded approach to work with strong cost analysis skills Ability to manage deadlines effectively Effective interpersonal skills Along with a rewarding career, Technip Energies offers:
