Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

Job description: About the opportunity
The Senior Cost Controller will report to the Project Controls Manager and is responsible for performing cost control functions and implementing and maintaining Cost Control systems and procedures. This will require you to interact and collaborate with Planning and Scheduling, Delivery, Commercial and Finance teams within SRLA, as well as with consultants, advisors, delivery partners and contractors.
As a senior member of a growing team, you will be required to be flexible with challenging and conflicting priorities. The role will carry out change management, budget allocation, cost forecasting, review of variance analysis, and cost reporting for the works program, whereby considered advice and guidance will be provided across the delivery teams.
