The OpportunityAs a Cost Controller, you will collaborate closely with the Project Controls Lead and Project Leadership Team to ensure consistent, efficient cost management practices. Your role will be pivotal in tracking budgets, analyzing expenditures, and delivering cost-efficient outcomes for this high-impact energy project.
Key ResponsibilitiesBudget and Cost Management: Develop detailed budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze trends, and ensure compliance with financial obligations.Contractor Oversight: Perform audits, support contractor cost estimate development, and maintain awareness of contractual terms.Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare cost forecasts, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.Team Collaboration: Provide cost control guidance, align processes within the project team, and contribute to management presentations.About YouTo excel in this role, you will bring:
A proven track record in delivering cost control functions with minimal supervision, ideally in a project environment.Expertise in project change control, cost forecasting, and cost control software such as Prism.
