Are you a results-driven Senior Cost Analyst?
We have an exciting opportunity for you with a leading mining company that is looking to bring on board a strategic and detail-oriented professional for a 12-month contract based in Pinjarra, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed cost analysis for mining operations, identify cost trends, and provide actionable insights to management Develop and manage cost allocation models to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget control Support the Strategic Raw Materials Business Analyst with the inventory costing process, including:  Foreign currency transactions, Complex supply chain process including various inventory points Liaising closely with the Direct Materials Supply Chain Coordinator, including providing accounting inventory reconciliation guidance • Perform month end coordination Perform general ledger reconciliations including raw material inventories, including Lime and stores inventory.
Any issues are followed up with relevant party Provide support and attend monthly project portfolio monitoring meetings with a specific focus on capital and expense processes across locations Control of data into the General ledger and the provision of timely and accurate monthly reporting Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes with a focus on efficiency and accuracy The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A strong background in cost analysis within the mining or manufacturing industry  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance or related discipline • CPA is desirable but not essential In-depth knowledge of cost management, financial forecasting, and variance analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams Proficiency in cost analysis software and advanced Excel skills A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Why Join Our Client?
