ABOUT THE ROLE Senior Corruption Prevention and Education Officers assume an important role in developing a comprehensive program researching, designing and delivering corruption prevention strategies, together with designing and delivering educational programs that promote accountability at all levels within the workforce.
Face to face interventions with staff when behavioural concerns are identified form part of the role, requiring the position holder to be able to have difficult conversations with staff, clearly identifying behavioural expectations and how situations could be dealt with differently.
We are looking for experienced practitioners with well-developed research, writing and presentation skills. Conceptual and analytical skills are also important together with strong communication skills. You must be comfortable delivering face to face training sessions to large groups (over 50), sometimes in circumstances where you will be challenged in respect to the material you are presenting.
Senior Corruption Prevention and Education Officers meet with staff at all levels across the Department and will sometimes participate in meetings with Executive Directors and Superintendents.

Pool Recruitment This pool will be open for a period of twelve months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.

ELIGIBILITY It is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL ONE security clearance as a condition of employment and maintaining the clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL ONE security clearance. Ability to travel intrastate on a semi regular basis and to be able to stay overnight away from the Perth CBD.
