Senior Corporate Lawyer

The Group also provides information technology and consulting services.In this role, the primary focus will be to advise on the legal issues arising in the businesses, including managing regulatory issues & compliance with relevant legislation, advising on promotional/marketing campaigns, managing privacy complaints/issues, contract drafting and negotiation, and drafting legal and operational policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also develop and deliver in-house legal training programs. The role reports to the Head of Legal – Retail in the Company's growing Legal team.The ideal candidate offers quality post qualification experience of 7 to 10 years in general commercial law, preferably with some time spent in a major firm. We are looking for a candidate who is driven, has excellent communication skills, is able to work on matters with limited supervision and develop relationships with business stakeholders. Experience in advising on Australian Consumer Law issues is preferable.
