Permanent/continuing, full-time appointmentLevel 8/9: $113,063 - $140,279 + 17% SuperannuationThe Senior Corporate Governance Specialist plays a crucial role within the University of Wollongong, overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of corporate governance policies and frameworks.
Reporting to the Associate Director (Governance), this position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering excellence in corporate governance practices, and supporting effective decision-making processes. The Senior Corporate Governance Specialist holds key responsibilities in providing high-level governance and executive administrative service, strategic support, advice and governance reporting to Senior Executives, the Chief Governance Officer and University Secretary, the Associate Director, Governance, and key internal and external stakeholders including Council and Council Committee members.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to upholding the University's Governance Review Framework.
