As a Senior Corporate Finance Lawyer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal counsel to a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Leadership: Lead intricate corporate finance transactions, demonstrating mastery in structuring and executing complex financial deals. Provide hands-on, end-to-end legal support, ensuring seamless navigation through transactional complexities. Due Diligence Expertise: Conduct thorough due diligence investigations, assessing legal, financial, and operational aspects to ensure transaction legality and feasibility. Implement risk mitigation strategies based on comprehensive due diligence findings. Documentary Excellence: Draft, review, and negotiate diverse legal documents, including transaction agreements, financing documents, and disclosure materials. Ensure the precision and clarity of legal documents, reflecting high standards. Strategic Advisory Role: Offer strategic counsel to clients on matters of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, aligning legal advice with overall business objectives. Proactively identify opportunities and challenges, providing insight to optimise decision-making. Collaborative Team Engagement: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative environment for effective project execution. Establish clear communication channels with clients, facilitating a deep understanding of their business objectives to tailor legal solutions with precision. Industry Insight and Proactive Advice: Remain at the forefront of legal developments, industry trends, and market practices, translating this knowledge into proactive and relevant advice. Qualifications And Experience
A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience as a corporate finance lawyer. Proven track record in leading and managing complex corporate finance transactions. Strong understanding of financial markets, securities regulations, and corporate governance. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
