We are seeking a
Senior Corporate Advisor
to join our INPEX Corporate team in
Darwin
on a permanent contract. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.
Key responsibilities include:
Maximising the effectiveness of external stakeholder engagement (Government, Aboriginal, NT Business, and other community groups)
Representing INPEX in Darwin and the broader Northern Territory.
Prepare and/or take accountability for technical writing, report writing, strategic plans and preparing presentations for key internal and external stakeholders.
Represent INPEX and liaise regularly with various government stakeholders/departments. This includes contacting, coordinating meetings and agendas, attending meetings and following up on agreed deliverables.
Monitor and provide feedback to internal decision makers and stakeholders on approval conditions, INPEX commitments and approval requirements of applicable legislation, regulations and binding arrangements relevant to the NT and in liaison with the Government Affairs and Government Approvals teams.
Successful candidates will have:
Clearly demonstrated experience working in and around oil and gas, major projects, resources and/or government.
Broad experience and deep understanding working with Northern Territory and Australian Government agencies and excellent knowledge of their processes and expectations.
An understanding of community needs in Australia and the Northern Territory.
Proven team player with ability to work well in a multi-disciplined organisation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated results-orientated person.
Previous and proven ability to work in a large business in a complex and at times ambiguous environment.
Capacity to work effectively in complex and dynamic work environments such as high intensity projects.
Strong political acumen.
