We are currently looking for an experienced Core Network Engineer who has extensive experience in network design and implementation within a service provider environment.
Located in Abbotsford, you will work as apart of an existing team, in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Some of the responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
Responsibilities: Design networks for fixed and mobile applications as required Considering and advising on Network component interfaces Configures, tests, and maintains network equipment and related services in line with customer requirements. Identify, diagnoses, and resolves network problems Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations Skills: Hands-on experience implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security. These may include: Firewalls Cisco, HP, Dasan and Dell network switches, routers and VPN Wireless Access Points HP, Dell server platforms The ability to communicate at all levels; be it internal or with customers or other organizations. An appreciation of Telecom products and the Telecommunications industry and associated systems and products. In depth detailed knowledge of the network modules or area that they are considered experts in.
