About the role
The Cyber Operations Branch is a newly established branch within the Cyber Security, Data and Digital Resilience Division.
The branch consists of the Cyber Services Team, the SOAR Integration Team, the Security Architecture Team, and the Cyber Risk Team.
The role of the Senior Coordinator – Cyber Operations is to assist with planning and coordinating the delivery of cyber services and products to the Whole of Victorian Government, and the branch's capability uplift initiatives.
The Senior Coordinator – Cyber Operations ensures strategic objectives across the branch are achieved in a synchronised manner with the wider Division's objectives, while preventing and overcoming challenges to cyber services delivery and cyber risk mitigation.
Key Accountabilities Manage key cyber project delivery timelines, ensuring all branch internal projects are synchronised to minimise impact on capability development and service delivery.Coordinate and prepare the branch deliverables for Divisional Project Control Boards.
Develop Project Control Board reports for endorsement and presentation by the Cyber Operations Branch Director.Build strong relationships and manage inter-agency issues with a range of key stakeholders within and outside of government, exercising sound judgement of priorities and appropriate management strategies.Proactively develop and consider opportunities to increase the profile of the Cyber Operations Branch cyber capabilities and service offerings.Manage strategic stakeholder engagements with vendors, Government Departments, and agencies to ensure the Cyber Operations Branch capabilities are employed optimally.Any administrative requirements to ensure the Cyber Operations Branch is meeting its internal and external reporting requirements.Other duties as directed that are not listed in the position description, but which are consistent with a position of this grade and skills requirement.To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate: Experience in project management.An ability to initiate, develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of government, private industry, and the community.An understanding of Cyber Security risk mitigation solutions.Coordination and supporting software development and service project delivery, while working productively with the technical teams involved.Strong capability in creating influential documents of technical and non-technical information for non-technical audiences.Written and verbal communication skills.How to apply Apply before the advertised closing date 11:59pm on Tuesday, 3rd of December 2024.
