Join us in providing exceptional care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Cook to join our team for 3 days a week!You will be based at our St Ives home, located at 97 Killeaton Street, St Ives NSW 2075.This will be a permanent part time position, and this person will work within an established, dynamic and efficient team.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who have a positive attitude and are passionate to work with the elderly.
This is a great opportunity to work in a growing industry and in a rewarding role.Desired Skills & Experience for Cook:Assist in the preparation of food and serving of meals.Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff.Commitment to providing quality services to residents.Knowledge of infection control proceduresExperience in catering/ kitchen handGeneral kitchen cleaning and maintenanceMaintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Food safety experience in a healthcare setting desirablePeople enjoy working at Thompson Health Care as we are able to provide staff with a safe and supportive environment.
Staff are trained in our systems to ensure the highest care of our residents.
