We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our Engineering Group.
This position plays a leading role in the deployment of electrical control systems.
This includes design, documentation, testing and commissioning of materials handling automation hardware and PLC software.
The position also provides substantial opportunities to travel across a number of our customer locations in order to fulfil the work requirements.

Degree qualified in an Engineering or scientific discipline Ideal role for those with 7+ years experience in electrical design and installation Sound knowledge of requirements of AS3000 & AS4024.1 Experience in machine control, safety and functional safety principles Knowledge of materials handling system controls Experience in writing of technical documentation Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of PLCs (Siemens S7 preferred), variable speed drives, barcode scanners and safety devices Experience in managing installation crews Willingness to travel during the installation and commissioning phase of a project within Australia and occasionally overseas Ability to work in project based environment as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team Our ideal candidate will have a professional manner and display a dedication to providing a high quality output as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure in business-critical environments.
