Your work will ensure our transmission network operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, in line with Powerlink policy, procedures, and the National Electricity Rules (NER).Specifically, you will:Design and enhance AEMS automation and control schemes to meet critical operational needsDevelop and approve designs for the AEMS SCADA environmentLead the configuration, testing, and commissioning of automation and control systems, including WAMPACProvide expert technical advice and drive continuous improvement in work methods and processesConduct in-depth power systems analysis to support strategic decision-makingInvestigate and report on operational performance, driving engineering innovationDeliver high-level technical support to Real-Time Network OperationsCoach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellenceThe people you'll join:Powerlink is launching our new Advanced Energy Management System, laying the foundation for us to become the renewable grid of the future.This critical role, reporting directly to our Principal Engineer, is part of our Operations Planning team.
