The Role Together with the existing CES Contracts team, this new role will provide support to Centralised Energy Services' national sales teams (developer and owners corporation sales / account management) as well as the Operations and Implementation teams across all aspects of contracts and related enquiries. A key purpose of this role is to ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies and industry best practices.
Responsibilities: Providing general support to sales, operations and implementations teams for pre-and-post-award contract management activitiesPrompt and effective management of all external and internal communicationBeing a subject matter expert on standard CES legal documents and keeping up to date with changes to relevant strata and energy regulations and lawsManaging registers and access to databases, including for executed contracts and project documentationBuilding and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders including state sales managers, solution sales managers, operations, implementation and legal teamsEnsuring all contracts comply with legal, regulatory / compliance, tax, insurance requirements and company policiesAdvising the business on how to resolve contract issues and deliver value to OriginIdentifying and proposing innovative practices and procedures with the goal of improving efficiency and effectiveness of the CES contracts functionWhat will you bring? Experience in a similar role, working with commercial and contractual lawDemonstrated client and outcomes focusUse analytical thinking to identify problems, propose solutions, resolve problemsAbility to manage an issue through to potentially protracted resolution, liaising with multiple colleagues (and customers)Good judgement and the ability to work autonomouslyA working knowledge of different legal entities (partnerships, trusts etc)Formal legal or contract-focused education and / or training desirableAt Origin, we're powered by people who believe in creating change.
