Senior Contracts Advisor

We are currently supporting a leading tier one mining company with recruiting a Site-based Senior Contracts Advisor, for an initial 12-month contract.
Site based role: 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
The role entails working closely with the contract manager on-site providing both administrative support and hands-on involvement in day-to-day activities. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, issuing site instructions and assisting with general site administration.
Key responsibilities: Assist in preparing and reviewing claims, supporting the resolution of any contractual disputes.Provide hands-on support with daily site operations, participate in site inspections, and ensure adherence to protocols.Issue and track site instructions and variations, ensuring changes are properly documented and implemented on time.Keep records up to date and provide regular reports on contractual matters.Oversee post-award contracts, ensuring all terms are followed and monitoring project performance.Liaise with the construction team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure contractual obligations and project milestones are met.Identify contractual risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations throughout the project.We're looking for someone who has: A solid understanding of construction projects and contracts- Experience in managing post-award contracts and claims is advantageous.Experience in contract management within the mining or resources industry.Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and maintain clear and up-to-date records.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.*Only Perth based applicants will be considered
