Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client's Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.
The Role: This position is responsible for ensuring all contractual matters are properly and effectively negotiated, documented and implemented according to company standards. You will be looking after the fabrication and construction contracts on a major wet plant project, working closely with a tier 1 ore producer. This project is currently in detailed engineering phase, with execution planned for April '25 which will carry through until late '27 at this stage.
Preparing and issuing tender documentation, enquiries and purchase orders for high value/high risk itemsContributing to and reviewing the scopes of work and contract conditionsArranging for the commercial and technical evaluation of bids, and ensuring that purchase orders comply with appropriate specificationsAssessing, reviewing and advising senior/project managers in respect of contractor claims for variations, progress claims and extensionsIdentifying and recommending appropriate procurement strategies to minimise costs without compromising service levels;Thrive with us!
