We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a leading construction company in Sydney known for delivering luxury high end residential and commercial projects. Established with a focus on exceeding high standards and delivering high quality projects.
This role involves managing and administering contracts for projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Additionally, you will ensure that projects meet quality and profitability standards while minimising financial and contractual risks.
As the Contracts Administrator you will report to the Project Manager. You will also work collaboratively with the site and project teams to deliver multiple projects across Sydney, from the design stages through to completion. Your role will involve liaising with the client and the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing all aspects of Head-contract, Sub-contract, and Supplier agreementsFinancial management and time managementPreparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedulesProgress claim assistance and external variationsReview, negotiation and finalisation of subcontractsManagement and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claimManaging the full month-end financial forecasting processes, including the cost report meetingCollaborating with the Project Manager to manage the client relationship and build a strong, trustworthy partnership, delivering mutually beneficial outcomesTo be successful in this role you will have: Ideally 5+ years post grad experience in a Contracts Administrator role within the Construction Industry – on Commercial/Residential projectsTertiary qualification in a Building related discipline – Quantity Surveying or Construction ManagementExperience working on commercial/residential projects up to $50m+ Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractorsStrong financial analysis and administrative focus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well-developed interpersonal skills Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Competent user of Construction software; Procore or Basix Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
