Senior Contracts Administrator

McIlwain are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator in a newly created role to assist our current project commercial team in managing variations, procurement submissions and assisting in the financial and accounting records.
The project is located within the Scenic Rim region and is part of the Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage Area.
Due to the location, McIlwain offer housing for those that would prefer to stay locally during the week as the works are run from Monday to Friday.
Duties: Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and deadlines and keep up to date with changes and modifications.Review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.Follow-up outstanding paperwork and drive the team to comply and meet financial reporting deadlines.Prepare and co-ordinate Insurance claims when required.Track costs to provide Accrual information to the Project Manager for Financial reporting purposes.Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Contracts AdministratorDegree in Business Management, Law or related disciplines preferredDemonstrated experience in contracts, project costing and accountingPrevious experience in a civil engineering company highly regardedNext steps: Submit your CV online to apply for this roleOnly suitable applicants will be contacted to proceedSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and criminal history checkApplications will only be accepted from candidates who have the right to work in AustraliaTo learn more about us, visit www.mcilwain.com
