About the role We seek to appoint an experienced and energetic Senior Contracts Administrator to our team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing Commercial and Contract Management support to Zinfra's Power Services South Business Unit. The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting and advising our operations teams in our key client portfolios in the Power industry in Victoria. This role offers a hybrid work environment and is required to visit operations sites across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities include:
Act as an integrated commercial business partner, working closely with operations as well as key support functions such as HR, HSE, Finance, and LegalManage and support established services contracts to ensure that the field and operations teams deliver to Zinfra's obligations under its client head contractsProvide contract support and advice to operational teams to enable appropriate change managementManage and lead commercial claims and contract notices, including external client interfacing and negotiatingSupport and input into tenders, working collaboratively with the bid teams to ensure consistent and appropriate commercial solutions are providedAbout You To set yourself up for success at Zinfra, you should have experience in a similar role in a comparable industry and be seeking a role with greater breadth where you can be autonomous and influential. You should demonstrate well-versed skills in Contract Management related areas, including: Change Management, Problem Solving, Claims development, Head Contract governance, Finance Fundamentals, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, Legal Fundamentals, Procurement, Project, and Risk Management.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, or EngineeringAn understanding of the utilities industry is desirable, but not essentialAppreciation for how business objectives are achieved via commercial and contract managementAbility to develop strong relationships built on knowledge, integrity, and fair playYou should showcase confidence, capability, and prioritizing skills to navigate competing demands of various business groups. You should be autonomous, thrive in diverse work environments, and be able to effectively manage the often changing priorities. Finally, you should couple a 'can do' attitude with a positive, friendly demeanor. These traits will ensure success in this critical role.
