Opportunity for a Senior Contracts Administrator to collaborate with the project teams and deliver a residential unit project above $100M in Newcastle

With a strong and continuous pipeline of work secured, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity with a top tier building firm.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Senior Contract Administrator you will work alongside Project Managers, and report directly to the Contracts Manager and Commercial Manager. You will work collaboratively with the site, design, and project teams to deliver projects, from design through to completion stages. You will be responsible for managing teams of Project Coordinators, Contracts Administrators and Cadets to ensure the commercial project is delivered to the highest standards.
DUTIES.
Leadership
- Play an integral role in overseeing and managing the project teams as you work collaboratively. Support, mentor and guide the team from design through to delivery
Documentation
- Take ownership of all financial and contractual requirements as part of the subcontractor tender process
Procurement
- design and execute procurement strategies for commercial projects. Ensure all strategies are implemented to the highest standards, and meet requirements for increase efficiency of subcontractor packages, procurement and all financial and administrative duties
Financial Management
– continuously assess and review progress claims, variations and account forecasting
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Minimum 8 years' experience
Proven track record delivering residential projects above $50M
Proven record as a Senior Contracts Administrator
Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable
Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers
Outstanding people and communication skills
