We are seeking talented contracting specialists to join our team that manages operational contracts across Sydney Water and its delivery partners.
Providing support to the Senior Contracts Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day management of supply, service and support contracts that deliver civil maintenance and related works, ensuring the best value for our customers.
You will be accountable for the management of multi-million-dollar contracts and projects, to deliver civil maintenance related works and services at best value for Sydney Water.
The role isn't just about paperwork, it delivers the optimal balance of operational, commercial, safety, environmental and regulatory outcomes, risks, and opportunities for Sydney Water's critical operations.
Key Responsibilities: Effective management of key contracts to deliver civil maintenance works and services.
Fiscal management.
Planning and coordinating the delivery of works and services.
Relationship management.
Risk management.
Audit programs.
Data analysis and reporting.
Participation in contract sourcing activities and tender evaluations.
Contract development.
Coaching and mentoring.
About You You are resilient, solutions focused and capable of developing strong relationships that ensure seamless collaboration across all stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills: Experience Experience interpreting and providing advice based on legislation, policy, and procedures.
Experience in contract management.
Experience in procurement activities.
Experience in managing work delivery Extensive experience in the management of schedule, cost, risk and contingency and reporting to management.
Extensive experience in the preparation of relevant tender documentation, tendering procedures.
Ariba experience is desirable but not required Skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
Extensive experience in program, contract variations, contract -renewals/ extensions and claim management to deliver better procurement outcomes.
